Teaching Approach
I have worked in rigid environments, where musicians are expected to play exactly what's written on their sheet music. I have also worked in less-restrictive settings, where musicians are encouraged to be expressive and spontaneous. I see value in studying how to approach both types of playing, and am open to working with students who are interested in either or both approaches.
